Vista Del Mar Cozumel

This friendly four-story (no elevators) boutique-style hotel overlooks the Bay of San Miguel and the cruise ship docks. Cozumel’s main square, with its shops and restaurants, is four blocks away, as is the ferry dock, with passenger service to and from Playa del Carmen. A complimentary Continental breakfast, including Mexican sweet rolls, is delivered daily to guests' rooms, upon request. An outdoor pool, spa tub, and sundeck are on site, and dive excursions to the area’s renowned reefs can be arranged.

This four-story (no elevators) hotel has 20 guestrooms, all air-conditioned and overlooking the ocean or the pool. (Rooms with ocean views—not guaranteed—also have balconies.) Amenities include complimentary bottled water and bathroom toiletries. A nice touch is "night courtesy," the hotel's version of turndown service. Each night, the hotel staff unrolls the mosquito netting—used only to create a more tropical atmosphere—over the beds.
